We are looking for a Credentialing Coordinator to join our growing team!  The Credentialing Coordinator will be responsible for timely and accurate credentialing activities, including interactions with insurance companies and keeping accurate records. We are looking for an organized, detail-oriented professional to join our team!  

 

This is a full-time remote opportunity. Candidates who reside in CST/MST/PST time zones are preferred. Pay rate is $19/hr. 

Responsibilities

  • Gather necessary information and documentation needed for credentialing direct care staff with payors
  • Maintain records and manage provider profiles with internal credentialing software and databases
  • Communicate approvals and status updates to appropriate department leads and maintain information in client management system to allow staff to bill properly
  • Complete re-credentialing applications upon request from payor
  • Work closely with the credentialing team and billing staff to identify and resolve any denials or authorization issues related to provider credentialing
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Excellent computer skills including Excel
  • High School Diploma
  • Detail oriented with strong organizational skills
  • Plans and prioritizes to meet deadlines
  • Excellent customer service skills; communicates clearly and effectively
  • Ability to work in a team and collaborate with others
