Overview

Creative Learning Center, a certified non-public school designed to meet the needs of children who require a highly individualized behavioral and educational setting, is looking for a Senior Site Administrator for our Redwood City, CA site. 

 

The Senior Site Administrator will work in a school-based setting and are responsible for providing an educational atmosphere where students have the opportunity to fulfill their potential for intellectual, emotional, physical, and psychological growth. This person is responsible for organizing and implementing an individual instructional program that will result in students achieving academic success in accordance with policies.

Responsibilities

Role Summary

  • Responsible for overseeing a team that supports students with needs for specialized programming.
  • Responsible for various aspects of oversight, including community relations, clinical program implementation, classroom management, curriculum, and instructional practices.
  • Ensures Special Education compliance, mentors employees, and supervises multiple classrooms.
  • Maintains relationships with clients and districts, manages Special Education meetings, and provides professional development for staff.
  • Collaborates with vocation coordinators for job opportunities and post-secondary education for students.

Effective and Efficient Site Operations

  • Emphasis on organized and predictable operating practices.
  • Ensuring program integrity.
  • Data-driven results tracking and reporting.
  • Coordinating staffing needs with recruiting and the regional manager.
  • Maintaining proper utilization levels for fiscal management.

Leadership - Workforce planning, staff hiring, development, engagement, inclusion, and retention

  • Delegates, clarifies, and ensures each team member is equipped to deliver assigned tasks.
  • Professional development and staff training
  • Coaching for performance and accountability
  • Development of Supervisory staff
  • Cross-training, business continuity, and operational sustainability

Relationship Management

  • Managing relationships with internal and external constituents.
  • Ensuring effective communication with staff, students, district partners, and all relevant parties.
  • Implementing a site communication strategy and maintaining active and timely communication with districts, customers, and families.

Qualifications

Certifications/Licenses:

  • Current California LiveScan/Fingerprinting is required, along with a background check for the State of California.
  • Safety Care Certification is a plus.

Background/Education:

  • A master's degree in teaching, educational leadership, or clinical focus area is required
  • Educational or clinical certification is essential including fully credentialed special education teacher, fully credentialed school administrator, certified school psychologist, Board Certified Behavior Analyst
  • Experience as an educator with a population similar to the students served is essential.
  • At least 5 years of leadership experience is preferred.

Physical Requirements:

  • The job involves physical demands, including lifting and moving up to 100 pounds.
  • It also requires maintaining various postures and implementing safety measures consistent with Safety Care Crisis Management.

Compensation Range

$125000 - $160000 / year
